A huge turnout of bidders for a popular plot along Sunggei Punggol. This will be the last Executive Condominium (EC) site available for offer this year and have attracted a total of 16 bidders. With a potential to yield about 630 units, it have hit a record of the highest bidders for an EC site since Lake Life EC launched back in 2013.

The top bidders comprise of 2 joint developers, Hoi Hup Realty and Sunway Developments, which came in top at S$240.95m, or simply translated to about S$355 psf ppr. This is just 2.5% above Wee Hur Developments bid of S$235mil.

Looking at the number of bidders, it seems that the EC market will continue to be fairly optimistic come 2018. With many en blocs hitting a high this year, next year pricing for private condominium launches will be challenging. This puts the EC pricing to be attractive and will likely be the popular choice for first timers.
